This page explains which personal data this website collects, why, for how long, who sees it and what you can ask of us. It covers achaikipita.com and anything you send us through it.

Who is responsible
The data controller is Καραμπούλη Περσεφόνη & ΣΙΑ Ε.Ε. (Achaiki Pita), Ιάσονος 23, Οβρυά, 26500 Patras, Greece. VAT 997239204.

What we collect
- From the contact form: what you need (samples, a price list or something else), name, company, phone or email, the product code if you came from its page and, if you write one, a message.
- When you email or call us: your contact details and what you tell us about your business, so that we can answer properly.
- Technical data: the website's hosting provider processes the IP address, browser details and time of each request, for security and to serve the site. We keep no log of our own.
The website is addressed to businesses. We do not ask for, and do not knowingly collect, data from minors.
Why we use it
- To answer a sample or quote request and agree products and dispatch
- Steps taken at your request before entering a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- For business communication and following up on the relationship
- Our legitimate interest in serving professional customers (art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time.
- For invoicing and tax records, if an order follows
- Legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
- For the security and operation of the website
- Our legitimate interest and the hosting provider's (art. 6(1)(f)).
We send no marketing you did not ask for, and we never sell or rent your details.
Who sees it
Our sales team and office. Processing on our behalf, as processors: the website's hosting and content delivery provider (Cloudflare) and the email delivery provider that carries each form request to orders@achaikipita.com. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards the GDPR requires (an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
We pass your details to no other third party, unless the law or a public authority requires it.
How long we keep it
Sample requests and their correspondence are kept for 12 months after our last contact. If we start working together, the details of that relationship are kept for as long as it lasts and, for invoices, for as long as tax law requires.
Cookies
The website sets no cookies of its own, measures no traffic and uses no tracking tools. Fonts and video are served by us, not by third parties. The hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect against automated attacks; those need no consent.
Your rights
You can ask for:
- access to your data and a copy of it,
- correction, if something is wrong or incomplete,
- erasure, once we no longer need it for the purposes above,
- restriction of processing,
- portability of the data you gave us,
- objection to processing based on legitimate interest.
Write to gk@achaikipita.com. We answer within one month. If you believe we are infringing your rights, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (1-3 Kifisias Ave., 115 23 Athens, Greece).
Security
The website runs only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The form stores nothing on the website or in your browser; each request leaves as an email to our office, where only the team that will answer you can read it.
Changes
Last updated: 1 November 2026. If anything material changes in how we handle your data, you will see it here.
